The Canine Hilton Educational Project A message from Mercia, Canine Hilton's Dog Whisperer - I would like to dedicate this site of the Canine Hilton's educational project to my wonderful 2nd Father who provided our family with some of the most memorable and joyful experiences. Jacques R.E. P born 13th July 1922, left this physical plane quite unexpectedly, but with a smile on his face, during the night or early morning of 8/9th October 2005 having given his life to home and country. Author of the Veteran book The Giraffe has a long neck aka Le Giraffe as un long cou. The Title of his book contains a special coded message, which he applied from his heart for the safety and security of all people and it is thanks to his love for his dog Sander, I received the seed to become a voice for the freedom of all living beings, especially animals.
The NITZCHE PWCP Method The Dawn of Freedom to the Canine Hilton means, methods, which are designed to promote freedom from human ignorance, in relation to the preservation of a culture that belongs to pets within our modern seemingly 'civilised' human society. It is for this reason that the Canine Hilton are working towards achieving an animal leisure centre where they can enjoy short periods of time whilst their human parents are away on holidays in an exciting dog atmosphere. The Canine Theme Park is a project which needs funding, but more importantly , expertise and skills on how to interrelate with the canine culture. Being able to recognise the difference between play and aggression. Knowing the boundaries when play turns into a dispute. Understanding which dogs to mix and which dogs to keep separate. Having an eye for the state of health of the animal in question and recognising when something is not right. Some dogs respond well to clicker training, others need a lot of patience and sensitive words, whereas the tougher dog can handle a firmer approach, whether teaching something new, applying different 'tools of the trade', administering medication or just taking them for a walk. Either way, it must be within the boundaries of the animal's capacity to absorb new information. Not by intimidation or destroying its self-confidence, rather by making the dog feel on top of the world for achieving a new challenge. It is true what they say, an old dog can learn new tricks!
I would now like to introduce the 'affects' of applying the NITZSCHE PWCP method. The results are best seen on the animals themselves:
Example 1 - Princess. When she was 5 years old, my sister's dog Princess was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea and given no more than a few weeks to live. Due to the NITZSCHE PWCP method; combining holistic care with well balanced pharmaceutical and herbal care, endless patience, administering medication sometimes every three hours, complete tender loving care and we find a miracle 'cure' in that she is allowed a very reasonable and comfortable quality of life. As a result she will be going on for 8 this year. This after a vet threatened to call the RSPCA for animal cruelty, giving her only 3 weeks to live. This proves that none of us are perfect and we can all make mistakes. There were some very difficult moments, but persistence and determination proved successful in the end. The video clip below shows her being happily pampered by Granny. Example 2 - Beauty
At the age of 11, Beauty had a cist removed and a full caesarean operation which left her with 32 stitches. Using the NITZSCHE PWCP method, Canine Hilton prepared her for the operation by providing her with a three month 'nutritional' diet added to her regular fresh food, nature diet and chopped up, raw, natural organic vegetables. The nutrition consisted of a mixture of Canine Hilton recommended nutritional herbs and Denes remedies. On the 4th day after her operation she chewed 28 of the stitches out which would usually leave an open scar. The benefits of the remedies we administered proved extremely successful and in accordance with the NITZSCHE PWCP method, the skin (although still tender) to our amazement had totally healed on the surface. Spaying or neutering' is not a cure for anything, although it is guaranteed to prevent conception.
Foolish girl, on the 5th day she decided to take a leap of faith over a 6 ft tall fence, but remarkably was left without any side or after affects. Now she is 12 years old and still going strong. The cist, although we were told would be 99.9% malignant, was in fact benign and her caesarean operation has not affected her hormones or emotional wellbeing at all. Unlike with younger dogs who may experience traumatic hormonal shock imbalance when 'neutered' too early. Spaying and neutering does affect dogs' emotional state of mind and can have long lasting affects, besides affecting their weight. Keeping the 'unwanted' dog population at a minimum is highly important, there are ways however to minimise those animals who are sensitive and can be severely affected, psychologically, when operated on at the wrong time in a dog's life. It seems to be fashionable to cure many problems by spaying or neutering according to the 'specialists'. This is a myth, for dogs and bitches at a certain age, can be very aware of their sexual nature. If it is within the interest of the animal to take the 'snip' if it were, make sure to have a back-up plan which supplements the hormone deficiencies.
![]() Example 3 - Isadora
Isadora was attacked by pyometria, a killer disease for which every vet will recommend an instant caesarean without fail. Isadora is a unique breed and has never conceived. At that time there was still a small window of opportunity that she might have a litter, if the vet felt it would not endanger anyone's life. We treated her the alternative way, using the NITZSCHE PWCP method, with the recommended dosage of western anti-biotic. When she had recovered we went to see Chris Auckland the homeopathic vet - who prescribed her various homeopathic remedies and tonics to strengthen her present condition and prepare her for the next season. Like with Beauty, specific Canine Hilton recommended nutritional herbs and ingredients were added to her natural foods, combined with Denes natural products. The results have been so effective that although Isadora is of advanced aged and a vet rarely approves of a litter after 8; in this case however Chris neither advised against, nor was he in favour of Isadora having a litter, simply because in her case, she proved to be exceptionally healthy. To date Isadora has not conceived or had an operation nor another infection related to pyometria.
The photo below was taken in the autumn of 2005, when Isadora was 11.5 years old and about to enter into her next season. If Isadora were to conceive at that age, she would need special nutritional care. There is a risk factor with any pregnancy, especially with the older dog. With pyometria, however, the general experience is that a bitch who gives birth, after alternative treatment, will cure 99.9% of the dormant pyometria. Isadora always wanted to have babies and this breed never has more than 6. With a smaller male and carefully monitored food to reduce the growth of the puppies, so they are not too big when she gives birth, this will be her final opportunity or chance. The puppies too would need specific care after birth, no different to the older woman having a baby late in life. Success and failure usually depends on the nature of responsibility, making the effort to take extra precaution at all levels, not forgetting hygiene levels. This is part and parcel of the holistic combination, interlaced with the NITZSCHE PWCP method and natural evolution of life. None of us are Gods, therefore nature provides or it does not. This is the difference from an academic attitude to trusting life and its natural energies.
Example 4 - Faithful
Faithful was diagnosed as paralysed from the back and unable to walk for the rest of her life. Nobody told her that! Credit is due, in this case, to the well-renowned local expertise of veterinary Mr. Peter Knapp, whose highly proficient surgical skills are subtle, yet unequalled. Faithful suffers from a genetic deficiency which affected her tendon and warned me that the other leg was likely to suddenly go as well. We were walking on the downs when suddenly Faithful started limping. No yelp or obvious pain, however apparently as was explained the tendon had snapped and needed surgery to fix the problem. As with all young dogs, she was only two at the time, despite the tight bandages, she flew down the stairs after the operation thus delaying the process of healing. Peter recommended specific nutritional fish oils and fortunately the Canine Hilton prescribed product, also known as the 'Rolls Royce' of Cod-liver Oil, is superior in quality a mixture of fish oils combined with various herbs. This urned out to be the perfect solution. Added to that we selected some other useful products with properties designed to encourage and strengthen the muscle tissues, cartilage and joints. Peter furthermore administered specific pharmaceutical injections over a period of time and suddenly, like with a tennis elbow her limping stopped and she was cured. No sooner the other leg went. Peter felt that the damage was less serious and we decided to allow her to heal naturally by resting. I continued with the same concoction I gave her with the other leg and with the shorter walks for over a year, she snapped out of it completely. The entire process took approximately two years out of her young life and she still experiences an occasional set-back, however, miraculously these appear rather infrequently and she appears to have recovered totally. Slightly handicapped, for unlike her mother, she is unable to perform a pirouette on cue or lengthy exercises which require pressure on the back legs, but in particular the knee part of the leg. She runs like a deer and apart from the occasional problem jumping up, one couldn't tell she has had any troubles with her back legs at all.
"The importance of good breeding from a holistic perspective, starts in the womb, when Mum is pregnant. A happy Mum gives birth to a strong pup and a pup who understands secure love, can be brought back to a stable life condition, even after experiencing hardships." Please note, these are just some of the examples the NITZSCHE PWCP methods put into action and were successful in relation to our own expertise and constant supervision. Canine Hilton however do recommend that at all times, especially an inexperienced pet owner 'must' seek out professional Veterinary advice, before exploring the alternative ways. Canine Hilton use their own specifically selected herbal products to assist with the healing process as an alternative nutritional way of recovery the natural way! There are times when one needs specific herbs which can be recommended by a professional homeopathic vet. Click here for other examples of the NITZSCHE PWCP method
Katinka was my first dog, who taught me how to communicate with her, doggie style. I am extremely fortunate to have given birth and raised 5 generations of Himerlyn pups. The Himerlyn is a breed, originally used in Tibet during the 17th Century to ward off the evil spirits from the Temple. Isadora and Beauty are the last of this breed that I am aware off in this country. However, the next lineage is crossed with a Corgi and are called Cormalyn. They have the same protective sensitive nature, but are somewhat more spirited as the Corgi, which is a smaller breed, has the Western spirit for self-defence. Celeste for instance 'guards' the shopping and is quite passionate about this. Faithful on the other hand is a peace maker and when the older dogs have their off-days, she will jump in and 'Puppy' style, force them to laugh and participate in her manipulated kind of play. The two boys are very helpful in the family circle and when there is 'real' puppy mess, they help the mother to clean up. A family of dogs raised in a protected environment where all are treated equally is an absolute delight for animal lovers to see such organised activities and considerate behaviour towards one another. No dog in the family will 'steal' the bone of another member of the group. Indeed an experienced 'mother' will help a younger female give birth by helping her and eating the birth sacs. Unfortunately there is always an element where human intervention is needed, whether cleaning or offering fresh drinking water. Also, allowing the new mother to bond with the new born babies by herself for the first 24/48 hours. Depending on how much trust has developed within the group. With a holistic approach, it is recommended to seek confirmation from a Canine Whisperer who has much experience as a dog mid-wife. In the case of a breach birth, one should immediately contact an experienced vet. How to achieve the AIMS of the NITZSCHE PEPPU PEPPU stands for the following:
