Superficial wounds should be treated
with antiseptic disinfectant and a thin layer
of Canine Hilton recommended herbal gel, which is applied
to the scar tissue. Minor scabs, irritated skin,
shallow teeth marks and the skin recovers
in 48 hours. Repeat the treatment up to 5 times a day
if necessary. Cost approx £8.50 for products.
Mild epileptic fits can be treated
with half a 5mg diazepam, followed by one quarter
for two days. St. John's Wort or Kava kava in small doses,
no more than 5 days and whenever a fit kicks in, as long
as the fit remains insignificant and infrequent. First
check with a vet and have a blood test establish how
serious the condition.
Aggression in a dog too can be treated
with St. John's Wort or Kava Kava to start off with,
next one needs to look at the nutritional requirements
as well as study and observe the psychological state
of mind. This area can be a mine field and it is best
to leave this one especially, to a person with experience.
Neutering or spaying is not the key answer. There are
alternatives but these require commitment and effort.
A well trained dog too, will obey its owner. It is not
necessary to apply force, cruelty or become abusive towards
a dog who is confused. Look for the CAUSE and discover

Birds, if kept
